ha! sounds like a D-League name. and it is a big rip off the warriors' logo and mascot. as you know the warriors logo has a lightning bolt across the W. and while lightning and thunder are 2 completely different entities, people normally associate thunder with lightning. plus the warriors mascots name is Thunder. knowing our cheap @ss owner, he will probably sue or do something retarded.

I would have gone with the bandits, because the city made out like bandits by getting a decent ball club!  Thunder...Yuck! Sounds like a WNBA name, they should have stayed in Seatle and should have been remaned the Seatle Starbucks... What a joke, they'll last as long as the grizzles did in Vancouver...
