Probably not, just stating the obvious, its hard to get you to the dentist...I am the same way. Don't like it, ain't going! Once upon a time, i said I would not go back to a dentist if an abscessed tooth killed me; till i got the next abscessed tooth and finally went and had it pulled.

no this is not a pun as much as you would like to consider it a play on a word its not

what it is, is a badly constructed simile with no meaning or direction, work on it some more and you might have it.
