If i was born and raised into a religion. (not christian). And then forced to learn the religion as a child. And I never believed in Jesus because I wasn't raised any Christian ideals. I never converted intending not to raise any conflicts in my family. And a lived a nice wholesome life where i contributed love and care for my family and friends.

Then i died.

I would burn in h**l for not believing in Jesus?

Is this correct, or am i twisting it?

  1. You would NOT burn in h**l.

  2. I don't know but I am trying to be a Christian in that I'm trying to follow Christ's teaching not a group of people.  (True, I worship with a group but if they swayed from the truth or away from the ideals Jesus taught I would sway from them.)  Moving on - God said to Adam "To dust you will return" because of his choice not to live by God's direction...It was the consequence.  He didn't say "Now you will burn in a fiery underworld of torment forever and ever!"  So, NO - you won't consciously be tormented in fire forever after death if you choose you don't want to live under God's roof (rules).

As far as where you will end up - no one knows.  God decides when his day of judgement will be and there's no way to tell where you'll be when that arrives. (spritually or physically).  I believe that he will do things that will prove his existence beyond a shadow of a doubt before armageddon so that anyone still not serving him is not because they didn't believe he existed but rather because they chose not to conform to his standards.

  3. God is the judge!!!. Why do you ask Christians this question? only to call us judgmental later on???

  4. There is no h**l. Well I guess there is a h**l, Michigan. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

  5. Can I kill you?PLZ?

  6. You won't burn in h**l.

Why not study & find out what the bible really teaches about what h**l is.

  7. This is where doublequinella, the Christian Libertarian, gets into all his problems with Christians.

Anyone who follows a reasonable ethic should receive no penalty at death.

  8. Get this straight too.

You will burn in h**l for your sins, not for failing to hear the gospel.

Its like everyone has taken poison.  And not everyone who has visited the doctor will be saved unless they take the medication.  Sure, if you don't see the doctor, you won't even get the medication.  But you don't die because you failed to see the doctor.  You die because you took the poison!

    .

  9. But you would have had to heard the name Jesus or Bible, so you would be held accountable and yep you guessed it. Burn.

  10. No, Christians twisted it, not you. From the Baha'i Faith:

When asked on one occasion: "What is a Bahá'í?" Abdu'l-Bahá replied: "To be a Bahá'í simply means to love all the world; to love humanity and try to serve it; to work for universal peace and universal brotherhood." On another occasion He defined a Bahá'í as "one endowed with all the perfections of man in activity." In one of His London talks He said that a man may be a Bahá'í even if He has never heard the name of Bahá'u'lláh. He added:  --

The man who lives the life according to the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh is already a Bahá'í. On the other hand, a man may call himself a Bahá'í for fifty years, and if he does not live the life he is not a Bahá'í. An ugly man may call himself handsome, but he deceives no one, and a black man may call himself white, yet he deceives no one, not even himself.

There can be no doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God. The difference between the ordinances under which they abide should be attributed to the varying requirements and exigencies of the age in which they were revealed. All of them, except a few which are the outcome of human perversity, were ordained of God, and are a reflection of His Will and Purpose. Arise and, armed with the power of faith, shatter to pieces the gods of your vain imaginings, the sowers of dissension amongst you. Cleave unto that which draweth you together and uniteth you.

    (Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 217)

The Message of Krishna is the message of love. All God's prophets have brought the message of love. None has ever thought that war and hate are good. Every one agrees in saying that love and kindness are best.

    (Abdu'l-Baha, Paris Talks, p. 35)

The Jews await the Messiah, the Christians the return of Christ, the Moslems the Mahdi, the Buddhists the fifth Buddha, the Zoroastrians Shah Bahram, the Hindus the reincarnation of Krishna, and the Atheists - a better social organization! Baha'u'llah represents all these, and thus destroys the rivalries and the enmities of the different religions; reconciles them in their primitive purity, and frees them from the corruption of dogmas and rites.

    (Abdu'l-Baha, Tablets of Abdu'l-Baha v1, p. vii)

Bahá'ís the world over come from all religions backgrounds: Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Zoroastrian, animist, and non-religious. Yet they study a common set of sacred writings, observe a unifying code of religious laws, and look to a single international administrative system for continuing guidance.

  11. The only doctrine that is the same in all Christian sects is that they believe Christ is their savior.

The rest of the doctrines, including concepts of heaven and h**l, differ from sect to sect.

You cant really claim Christianity holds any uniting doctrine except that Jesus is our savior.

So no, that isnt correct for all Christian sects.

  12. Even if a person is raised in a Christian family does not make him a Christian. You have to believe that he is your personal saviour with all your heart.

Jesus loves you, that is why he died for your sins..!!!!

    God bless

  13. God says to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. It is not belief in some power or goodness within yourself, nor belief in some God of the sky, or the sea, or trees or rocks... but of the Creator of all things and the giver of life.

Faith in Jesus as our redeemer is how God sees us righteous, yet there are those saved who never knew Jesus:

Romans 1 says 'that which is known about God is evident within them; since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks'.

Hebrews 11 lists people considered righteous by God well before the time of Jesus.

Romans 2 says 'For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.'

But in the end, what is blaspheme of the Name of God - the commandment not to take His name in vain? It would be rejecting that name. What if the one judging, as it says above, is the one whose name has been rejected? You are liable for what you know - and you decide.

  14. If you were never given a true witness of Christ, you will not go to h**l.

  15. First of all, take out from your mind the idea that Christianity is standing for sending people to h**l. Christianity wants people to live well and get saved from h**l. Jesus wanted people to live an abundant life on earth with no poverty and illness, and also wanted them to save their lives for the life hereafter. He wanted them to achieve it themselves by serving God with true heart and by loving and helping fellow beings. Jesus never told anyone to change his religion. Jesus asked people to believe in him, which means to believe in God. He who believes in God, believes in Jesus automatically. God performs everything through Jesus only. So, if you lead a good life, giving respect and love to God and others, you will surely be welcomed by Jesus in heaven and you will live with him. It does not matter whether you knew him or not. He is the son of God and is not thinking like us humans. If anyone leads a good life, intentionally or unintentionally, he belongs to God.

  16. God loves you and understands. All you need to do to go to heaven is to have a personal relationship with him. From what I can tell, you know God. You have to try to build a relationship with him and trust him. You don't have to turn into any other religion. All you need to do is believe and have faith. Everything you do in life should be for God.

  17. Your question is besides the point.

You have heard about Jesus, now the question is what are you going to do?

2 Cor 6:2  For he says,

"In the time of my favor I heard you,

and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.

What are you going to decide?

    To follow Jesus?

    Or?

And that question is not only true for you but for everyone else who reads your question and reads this reply.

  18. "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse." Each will be perfectly judged by the perfect Creator according to their knowledge. Considering the above quote from Romans, there is more than sufficient evidence to point everyone to their Creator, who will in turn point to His Son so that each can be saved from eternal damnation and receive eternal life.

  19. No, you're right. That's about the size of it.

  20. yes that is what they believe!

    Nice Huh?!

  21. You are not a Christian.  Consider another religion. Forget the 'burning in h**l' nonsense.  It is about belief.  There is room in heaven for all who are righteous and good.

  22. This is correct. (According to the bible of course)

  23. Read Romans 10:9 in YOUR BIBLE and that will give you the answer
