So michael phelps is done competing right okay. so why should people continue watching the olympics?

Because there are still other evens that haven't came on. like synchro swimming and other sports. so yeah.. But Michael Phelps was the main reason I watched the olympics and because the Gymnastics

lol he was a good reason to stay up at night to watch but there are some other sports that are good 2 like track and maybe baseball. i wont be watching the olympics as much anymore

haha good point. it was much more exciting when you were watching because you were seeing history in the making, but in my opinion i like all the sports so i still watch it. but no doubt michael phelps is my favorite and it sucks he isn't still swimming. looking forward to watching him in london in 12'

I asked myself that.  I know that there are other events coming, but definitely Micheal Phelps was the major attraction, it's not gonna be the same without him

If you know the gold medal count, China has 35 gold medals compared to our 16 or 17 gold medals. I don't know how people will be grateful for Michael Phelps because the rest of the world has past us a long time ago.
