Question

is there any person out there in the world surprised that yesterday did not have a big occurance? Something like an assasination, or a tidal wave, or a bear in NYC or my home state falling into the ocean, or war in Iran or whatever anxiety one might dwell on needlessly? Just for fun, I kinda anticipated a news story yesterday. not dissappointed

I admit, I didn't notice it either until someone on yahoo answers said something about it. Then the chinese people started their olympics on the 8th at 8 o'clock, and it reminded me.

I think people are going dumb...

Well you had the opening day of the olympics.

Also a baby was born at 8;08 and she weighed 8pounds 8 ounces.

I heard a lot of Chinese people got married yesterday, because of the date. But, no I'm not surprised nothing big happened.

Actually, it was the first 08/08/08 in a hundred years--1908 also had an 08/08/08. And I dunno, I think this fight between Georgia and Russia that got started yesterday might turn into a pretty big thing.
