No wonder the Dems are parading Palin all over the press...its masking the REAL story of Obamas campaign continuing to tank!

Notice that this is the first back-to-back convention since 1956.  Also, both campaigns are taking the high road with the fear of Gustav.  A 'bounce' 2 months before the election isn't that relevant.  We'll see what the polls are like after some debates.

It was only slightly smaller than usual (4% rather than 5%). This should be expected, since he already had a larger than usual lead.

I doubt you'll see too much of a bounce on either side with the race this close. I think the moderate voters still need time to make an informed decision.
