So my friend "broke up" with me in an e-mail which said...?

"ummmm we can't talk anymore....don't ask."

Then he deleted me from his "private" myspace page.

Obviously, I'm heart broken and I don't know "why" or the reason for the termination. He says "dont ask" like thats supposed to settle it.

Just 2 weeks ago he said he "misses me".

Anyway, is this a normal way to break up a friendship/relationship?

How would you feel if you got a "one sentence break up e-mail" like this?

I would be really pissed man. Thats a really sucky thing he did. He didnt even have the balls to say it to ur face. Im sry man but i dont think he was such a good friend.

But u should try to get in contact to find out the reason. Try to ake a new s/n or a new myspace page to find out. I think when u find out the reason ull feel sad at first then be like "wow hes a douche i can get a friend 10x better"

Now see, I'm the type that would go to their home and "ask" them face to face.  If a person tries to ignore me, it just makes me want in to get right up in their face, lol.

well thats immature.  u have to ask him why at least even though he said not to.

I would be at first devastated, but then I would be pissed off! That is a very immature and rude way to break up with you. I would go talk to him in person and ask him why he did that. If he says "don't ask" again, then tell him "yes, I am asking you right now!" and demand an answer. If he just ignores you or doesn't give you an answer, then he isn't worth it and he is just a jerk. If that is the case then I wouldn't get worked up about it because he really isn't worth it.
