  1. Hire someone to DJ, have it catered, have it somewhere other than your home. Do all of these and you will have time to enjoy your friends and family!

  2. yh alll of the above are good suggestions but the most important thing is to make sure u have lots of friends, drink and good music!!!

  3. Come up with a signature cocktail / mocktail for the occasion. Something fruity and delicious that looks amazing in a cocktail glass with lots of fruity garnishes.

  4. Hey.  Since you're now 18 I'd add in some items that show you're an "adult" now.  Maybe have some funny ID cards made up with cute sayings on them.  You'll need "bar" food like pretzels, popcorn, nuts, etc. on counters made up to look like bar areas.  Maybe you could rope off some  areas with velvet ropes.  Dress in your best "bling" and dance clothes!  Have fun.

  5. strobe lights always give a clubby feel.

what makes a good party, really, is having people you like there & GOOD MUSIC!

  6. Those glow in the dark stars; put them on the ceiling (making arrows) towards the bathroom, kitchen, where ever you want it. Tell mom they come off too with no problems, LOL

  7. i can think of my favorite party recipe- here:

    Corn Pup Recipe

    Ingredients

    4 cups yellow cornmeal

    1 cup all-purpose flour

    1/3 cup sugar

    1 tablespoon baking powder

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1 teaspoon chili powder

    1 teaspoon cumin

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1 cup milk

    1 egg, beaten with fork

2 tablespoons oil# 1/2 cup shredded monterey jack cheese

4 hot dog, cut into 1 inch pieces

    Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F Line muffin pan with paper liners or coat with cooking spray.

Stir together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder. Make a hole in the bottom of the bowl and pour in milk, beaten egg, and oil. Stir just until blended. Fold in cheese.

Drop a spoonful of batter into each muffin cup. Place hot dog piece into batter. Fill with enough batter to cover the hot dog (This does not mean drown the hot dog. It means make sure the piece is covered in batter because the batter will rise).

Bake 10-12 minutes. Muffins should be lightly browned and clean when toothpick is inserted. Let cool before removing from pan.

  8. disco ball, maybe hire a Dj, cocktails and maybe  coloured dance floor

  9. make it crazy, just have fun, think out side the box, trust me it works...
