So my mom has been drinking lately well a lot she doesnt get drunk she just drinks a 6 or 12 pack everynigh?

and this has went on for about 5 months now and she is starting to get bruises on her from just having the dog jump oh her or some nudging her or from just from any sorta contact

so my question is:

is the alchol doing this to her cause i know that nobody is assaulting or abusing her

we felt my brother was drinking far too much. After sitting down talking to him, we decided that we wouldn't cut alcohol from his life, but we wanted him to only drink so much. we bought a breathalyzer and all agreed that he'd only go up to .12 and then after a month go to .08 and then after another month to .04. It worked out great so far. i'm not sure what's causing the bruising, but i'd talk to a doctor asap, but more likely than not they're going to associate and priorities her drinking situation to the cause of the bruises.

A little drinking once in a while, is ok, and even  over doing it at a party on occasion is fine( as long as you don't drive) but it sounds like your mom is becoming an alcoholic, and needs help.

easy bruising is usually caused by weakened blood vessel walls IDK if drinking causes this but I think being generally unhealthy does
