Not one single team offered a better deal than bobby jacksons expiring contract, a hyped rookie, and a 1st round pick that will most likely be in the 25-30 area. What a joke i heard several rumors that would have given the kings better players, even one where a team offered two expiring contracts. You know what the saddest part about this is, that with this trade sac STILL! hasn't come close to being serious contenders in the 09-10 free agent market. They still have to get rid of kenny t, and other huge contracts that NO ONE! will take. I really hope this trade really comes to bite them in the butt.

  1. The fact that this was the best deal that Sac-Town could make speaks volumes about Ron-Ron. As a Laker fan, I didn't have the reaction to this deal as I did to last year's Kevin Garnett to Boston trade. Back then, I was admittedly bitter over Kevin McHale delivering KG to his buddy Danny Ainge to spite the Lakers. My reaction to Artest going to Houston? A shrug of the shoulders. Could the addition of Ron Artest to the Rockets result in a "dream ride" to the NBA title? It's conceivable, but Houston strikes me as being too physically fragile to sustain the rigors of an 82 game season. Anyway, best of luck to them.

  2. it will.  Bad trade for sacramento unless they get a steal next year in the draft but highly unlikely.

  3. I think the Pistons could have offered a better deal than that like sending Prince and some other player to the Kings.

  4. detroit had a better offer man!!

  5. I don't know what the saddest part about this is for the general public, but I know the saddest part for YOU would be that the LAKERS couldn't offer a better deal.

You should be blaming the morons in your front office for not getting it done instead of whining about the Kings making a bad trade, because the only reason why you think they made a bad trade is cause they made it with someone other than the Lakers.

  6. yes its just like another lakers grizzlies trade. unless huston can stay healthy they wont do nething look @ the last few years yao hasnt played over 60 games and tmac has been hurt too.
