  1. Nobody gives a c**p of whether or not you like the Olympics or not. GET OVER IT, AMERICA LOST LOST LOST LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. This might explain why Canada is sucking the hind teet.... Just kidding- but I do agree...those two Asian girls look like they are barely in the 5th grade, and I had read about the passport they presented issued by...the Chinese government....the news reports about them a couple of years ago stating their ages as 13 then....making them barely 15 now- not old enough to be in the Olympics....Actually, know what? I hate the Olympics too.

  3. If the decision was in the Americans favor you wouldn't be complaining.

    Nuff said.

  4. Its a disappointment, but that's how life is.  Who is to say Nastia was more deserving of the medal than that Chinese girl?  Nastia won more than one medal anyway.  And SHE isn't criticizing the decision, so why should you?

The athletes who compete in the Olympics are the best of the best.  They are all 'world class' by definition.  Any one of them can have a bad day or just make a dumb mistake and end up out of the running even though they might have been the best.  There are some very sad stories of people who had a sudden illness or broke a bone or tore a ligament or something and after a lifetime of work they are no longer in the game.  Compared to that, getting silver instead of gold is not such a big deal.

The athletes all understand this themselves--well, most of them do.  It's amazing to see how they respect each other, how they help each other, even though they are competitors, how they shake hands and even hug one another when they get beaten. This is sportsmanship and I'm glad to see it exists -somewhere-.

Look at it this way.  If you were going to a football game or a baseball game, would you rather see a game where one team, maybe your team, is way out in front and just beats the s**t out of the other team, or would you rather see a close match with suspense and heroic plays on both sides, and you don't know who will win until the very end? That's how the Olympics is.  The Superbowl is usually actually pretty boring, but the Olympics is always suspense-filled.

Can't you just enjoy the incredible performances without caring who wins?

  5. Hate it just because the US are losing? Stop making excuses and just avoid watching/reading about the games.

  6. She may get the medal re-enstated and He Kexin and Yang Yilin have their medals removed because they are under age.

  7. Me too. Nastia had to overcome bias in the individual all-around to win gold. They were giving her and Shawn Johnson such low scores the judging president had to come over to the judges and reprimand them. Also He Kexin, who won the gold, Yang Yilin, who won the bronze, and Deng LinLin, who helped China defeat the U.S. in the Team all-around, are all underage. The AP even proved He (she) (LOL) was 13, they found an old article on a Chinese website from Nov. 2007 reporting He Kexin as 13. Now that webpage doesnt work. If I could read Chinese or had a translator on my computer I could probably find some evidence too.

  8. This isn't a question.  I'm just a comment.  Go post this some where else.
