So shall I go to Italy?

That is wear my AP Euro class is going next summer (and Greece). I am 15 and will be 16 in February. I've always wanted to go to Italy. It will cost $4,000 plus spending money, I have to pay for all of it. I have about $8,500 and I earned all of it myself. Between now and Christmas if I don't spend anything I can make at least $1,100. However, I would like a cell phone (I would have to pay the bills) for when I get my license. What should I do?

  1. Go to Europe.  You can get a cell phone any time.

  2. Your summer in Europe will cost more than 2 years tuition, room, and board that I paid when I attended University of Maryland, in College Park!

  3. If you don't want to spend too much on a cell phone, you can try a Pre-paid or other options that can be suitable for you.

Look for cell phone providers/packages like T-Mobile and others and see which one you like best.

Also, you can get a part-time job if you don't have one or a seasonal extra job during Christmas for extra money.

Or you can even put your money into a CD (bank) so you can earn some interest by the time of your trip while you work in a part-time (weekends, preferably so you can study) from now until that day and pay your cell phone bill with the part-time job.

Have fun in your trip! :)
