Make an agreement with Tampa Bay...Sorry Pack fans

My question is Who do you think will win the NFC North and if you just take the Vikings to win by a long shot you'll be wrong (Hey looky at me..Im a Vikes fan who doesn't get his hopes up) Because if you look at it Minnesota and Green Bay have an awesome Defense coming up....Running back looks fine, and the Passing Game coming in is Questionable both have a Receiver with potential, Greg Jennings and Sidney Rice..these Teams are similar though one difference..Tarvaris Jackson has more Experience

  1. No sympathies -thank you....Can't wait!!!!!

I think it is going to be a year of underdogs and it could

very well be Chicago Bears year... Whether Brett was a Packer or not most of the team is younger and although

they will do well I don't see a SB year. But if happens I

    will party!!

  2. man im with u but im a vikings fan to but if we get farve its a done deal but we will win the north for the frist time in ten years because with a d like ours rogers wont do anything

  3. I would still say the Packers are a favorite just based on the the skill players at tight end, receiver (remember Green Bay has 3 wideouts who can get the job done with Driver, Jennings and Jones, Minnesota has the potential of Rice and that's about it) Minnesota does have the better running back though providing he can stay healthy (which you can say for any player and any position I know).  The deciding factor is going to come down to QB play.  Jackson has yet to show he can make the right read on a consitent basis throwing costly turnovers at very inopurtune times, where as Rodgers as been behind one of the greatest QB's in history and while his only playing time has come in mop up duty or when Favre was out hurt for a little bit (last years game against the Cowboys) he has showing the understanding of the offense, his biggest question is can he live up to following a legend and can he stay healthy (he's ridden the pine behind Brett for three years, but yet as been on the Disabled List all three years, but yet Green Bay wants to move towards it's future right).  I think both teams drafted their QB's of the future with this draft (sorry but I don't think Tavaris Jackson is the answer for Minnesota) and in two years this rivalry will be against John David Booty (a steal by the way in the 5th round) and Brian Brohm.

If however Minnesota pulls Jackson early in the year for Ferotte and Rodgers does get hurt, Minnesota will win the NFC North

  4. I don't see why the Bucs need brett Farve. i guess John gruden does like collecting QBs. he's already got a starter in garcia and there's other need to that need to be fixed before QB. I mean it's sad when your only deep threat WR is the oldest guy on the team.

  5. First off, I'm a Packer fan.  I'm praying like crazy that Favre doesn't go to the Vikes in a 3-way (hehe) trade.  I agree that if Favre goes to Minnesota that the Vikings will definitely be the favorite to win the NFC North and maybe the entire NFC.  You guys have an amazing defense and possibly the best running attack in the NFL.  The only missing link is at QB.  If you guys acquire one or Jackson becomes a halfway decent QB, you guys will be hard to stop.

If Favre does go to the Vikings, I think that it would be a very interesting match-up or Favre vs. our passing D.  Harris and Woodson are arguably the best corner tandem in the NFL and they shut down receivers in their sleep.

However the preseason turns out, I'm excited for the games against the Vikings.  You guys are an excellent team and should be considered a dark horse to win the NFC.  Good luck to both teams!
