So now, the Packers have pulled off the ultimate flip-flop. How unfair for Aaron Rodgers. He was told that he would be guaranteed the starting job. So much for that.

  1. Aaron Rodgers is still the starter. Favre's coming back doesnt mean he'll be the starter

  2. I, too, feel badly for Rodgers, but, on the other hand, Favre doesn't really want to be there - wasn't he talking to the Vikings anyway?

I understand that Favre wants to play football:  we all know it's his passion; however, him coming back - no matter to what team- has taken some of the luster off his shine.  No matter what happens this year for him professionally, some people won't look at him the same.

  3. I agree with you too man, Brett Favre made up his mind and said he was definately done.  It's unfair to Aaron Rodgers because Brett Favre just wants all the attention.  I lost a lot of respect for Favre.

  4. The Packer management in spite of being in the football buisness have no balls of their own, they outdid Brat Favre's flip flop into a bigger one of their own

  5. The Packers never said the competition was open.Just the media is saying this.If that is the case it is a slap in the face to Rodgers he will be out of town when his contract is up.

  6. I dont see how this is Favres fault in any way?

He asked to be traded didnt he? The Packers org told him they were going with Rogers so he said "Trade me". They wouldnt do it.

So how is this Farves fault? Just because he wants to play football?

  7. Everybody is for Brett Favre (known as the drama queen) but they forget, it's Aaron Rogers, the Packers future. Your right it's so unfair for Aaron Rogers if Brett Favre come back and be the starting QB again. How can you named him the starting QB and taking it away because of Brett Farve, it's a bad idea. I suggest Brett Favre take the money and don't force the Packers to take him back, go and retire and enjoy life after football.

  8. This would never have been an issue or drama if the Packers just welcomed Favre back right away. How can they blow off 16 years from one of the best QB's in history for an unproven QB, who went 2nd in the draft behind Alex Smith, who is about to lose his starting job. I am not a die hard Packers fan and never will be, and a hardcore Vikings hater, but if Favre goes to Minnesota, I will be cheering for Favre to destroy the Packers. Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy need to go...they have handled this situation horribly. Favre has given them a week, and the best they can do is offer him money. That's a slap in the face.

  9. unfair? this isn't a playground its an adult bussiness. Doesn't matter whats fair. Favre is better so he is the QB

  10. My advice to Brett...

    Take

    the

    money

    and

    RUN!!!!!!!!

I can't believe all this is going on. Oh, and if he doesn't want the money, I'll take it!

    Have a "sporty" day.

  11. man you must be a packs fan. you know i dont like favre. he keeps breaking marions records. yea im a dophins fan. but arron sucks. he did in college and he will in the pros. favre is a better qb than him and many of the starters in the nfl today. get over it. the packers are the ones who did this not favre. he asked to be released they said no. they could trade him but they wont. so the packers brought this on them onto them selves. so drama queen favre shut up. big head coach that is going to fu the packs up is the one who should feel stupid.
