What do you think about the Irish mistake in a game they thought would serve them the tournament ona platter? And what about the french try? Personally I saw the ball was higher up when it dissapeared and someone arm was under it when another player pushed over and while you couldnt see it, it didnt look like I was gonna be grounded.

  1. It breaks my heart -- I really wanted Ireland to win this...I certainly didn't want the French to win on points.

  2. the try shouldn't have been allowed

  3. The Northern hemisphere teams are average, the all blacks will run riot over them.

  4. i think Ireland took a chance and if they hadn't they wouldn't have known what would've happened if they just took the drop kick at the end of the game they may have regretted it but now we know!!

i think i would've preferred it if Ireland had won! now there only 0.24 points behind us! (Australia) i saw the try France got and it looked to me as though there was a Scottish hand under that ball , i don't think the try should have been given.

  5. I would like to see the footage the TV official used to make his decision. I thought he had to see clear proof in order to change the call (according to the announcers). If so I have no idea how he could say he say the ball grounded...  I am of two minds I guess, France probably did get the try, but according to what I understand the rules are, it probably shouldn't have been awarded. It was a very exciting ending though.. perhaps it will give Ireland an edge in the world cup.

  6. Well BOD definately didn't save our gracious team this time around! Ah well, they put up a good effort  and I applaud them for that. Its just too bad we had to lose on Paddy's day!
