So the UK MP's have awarded themselves a 2.25% pay rise. Thats 2.25% of £61,181. How thoughtful of them.?

2.25% of £61,181 is totally different to a 2.25% rise of the £20,000 average that most employees earn.

Just another case of "THE RICH GET RICHER"

    The move to give themselves a pay rise was rejected...


  2. To be fair the did reject an independent review that wanted to award them 10%

    61K is not a lot relative to what they do. It is low comprable with other pofessions. I would happly allow MPs 100K if they were banned from outside earnings
