  1. It's pretty much what I expected, with back to back conventions.  I don't expect public support for either candidate to solidify much before mid-October.  They already have their bases.  It's the undecided voters who decide elections, and they aren't even paying attention right now.

  2. the real fun will begin in November, until then who cares?

  3. Im suprised I thought McCain would be about 10 ahead at least.

  4. Kinda suprised, but will change again.

  5. It makes me wonder about the 43% who are supporting someone with zero experience, who voted present 130 times on issues like keeping sexual predators away from children.

  6. Not surprised... it was pretty much a statistical tie before their conventions.

How do I feel... We need to make sure we all vote for our candidate.  It's more important than ever!

  7. Not real happy. McCain/Palin should be up by 20% but it is early yet.

  8. It's going to be an interesting November....

  9. Well, unless one of them screws up royally, it should be a tight race. It will be the undecided that decide it.

  10. I am truly amazed that, that many people want four more years of the Bush administration,  I mean seriously, 8 years havent' been enough?

and this poll has Obama up by 4%

  11. Who cares they change everyday and the Gallup has Obama up by 4

  12. hasn't it been tied all along.

sorry folks, america is still divided. it will be a nail biter till the end just like in '00.

sad to say that i won't go through that again. going to bed with Gore for president and waking up with doe doe bird. this year, i'm voting and turning the t.v. off.

i'm hoping for a republican win this time, cuz youth and inexperience got us in the mess, not blue or red.  obama is just a democratic version of bush...all the hopes and dreams of ONE side of the voters wrapped up nice and tight in a young handsome family man.

GOOD GRIEF- go jump off the cliff clinging to your obama bumper stickers, i'll keep clinging to my guns and religion.

  13. I can't wait for Obama to have a moment of realization and realise

" what the h**l was I thinking" hand the nomination over to hillary, and get back to the senate asap and work on casting votes other than present

  14. I don't trust polls.  Polls are a "feeling" that change week to week...because of the population polled not because of any change in voting decision.  I like to look at other "numbers" to get the feeling of the election.  Prediction markets, campaign stop turnout, campaign donations, and web search engine numbers.  Those are just a few, but they give a broader picture of what is going on.  And currently (and since June) all of those are pointing to Obama as the easy win.

  15. terrible. someone that like America should be ahead by 20 points.

  16. There must be a lot of sick people in this country to vote for McCain or Palin.  They just don't understand.  But these polls show that Obama is ahead:

Hmm...most people watched on CNN, FOX and MSNBC. As more comes out on Palin...this too shall pass.  Palin is a dangerous extremist.
