my bird is laying eggs and has not been mated what is worng with her

Birds can lay eggs without having been mated, just like females produce eggs without having s*x.  The eggs are jut unfertilized.  Take them out, or she will sit on them expecting them to hatch and they will become rancid.

Ever wonder where chicken eggs come from? it's the same thing. MJT has a good point about removing them, but my bird lays eggs too and I personally think that when we remove the eggs, it makes her want to lay more. We still have her eggs that we never even put in the fridge and they don't smell or anything. Just be sure your bird is warm, and while she is going thru this phase, keep her in her cage for most of the day in the dark. But if it seems like she still has an egg she hasn't laid, she may be egg-bound, which is VERY serious! best of luck!
