  1. I live in North Bay Ontario. I also live about ten feet from the edge of Lake Nipisiing, where wind off the lake in the winter can drop the temperature to about -60 to -80. So I imagine it would be roughly that temperature in my home, had I no insulation nor heat. It is too d**n hot here today however, sitting at 25 right now in the dusk. I can't wait for winter again.


  2. when it's freezing outside, I go down to my basement where the temp is around 50F sometimes dip down to 45F without any heat. Upstairs can get down to 35F depending on outside temp. Also have to close all doors windows, seal all drafts and air leaks. Upstairs have R20 insulation.
