  1. Ouch! Really sympathise with you. I remember how uncomfortable it was. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do. Try using lots of pillows or cushions. Remember, if you get a particular pain to see a doctor. Good luck XXXXX

  2. Ugh I feel your pain! I am 28 weeks also, due November 19th. I have gotten so huge the past week, and I have some sciatic nerve pain, along with being so tired I can barely move! I think its just me getting used to being bigger since its all happening at once. I am going to go home after work and try a nice warm bath, also what I do is lay on the couch on my left side and scoot my butt and back all the way against the back of the couch and that relieves some pressure off my back. I have also tried taking a couple of Tylenol when it gets really bad...I also am trying an exercise video to see if maybe I just need to move around more.

  3. Oh I understand.  I'm 37 weeks and sooo uncomfortable.  It just gets worse.  I  keep thinking I can't possibly be any more uncomfortable, and then of course it happens.  I have constant severe pain in my pubic symphysis region that makes it hard to turn over in bed, walk, or even sit for any length of time.  Lower back pain, hard to breathe, heartburn, it just goes on and on.

I haven't found much that helps, except for staying in bed all day, but of course when you work full time that is not an option!

  4. ask your doctor for advice... Maybe you're having twins and they're both pushing left right and centre!

Someone i know didn't know she was having twins until a week or 2 weeks before they were born. One was hiding behind the other!

  5. Pillows, wheat bag, hot baths, stretching.

Check out this pregnancy checklist for some other ideas.

Also try sitting on a birthing ball.

  6. If you can take time to go to a swimming pool it would be worth it. It relives all th pressure and is excellent exercise.

  7. Pillows, Pillows, Pillows. Also yoga and some streching will help tense muscles, and help your body to stretch and grow for the baby. Also a great one to relieve back and hip pain is to get on all fours on the ground, like a dog, and curl and arch your back slowly. It really helps, and gravity will help your kiddo come out from under your ribs!!

  8. I agree with Karen C.  The body pillow takes all the pressure off from all angles.  It makes all your joints feel better.  Lay on your side to encourage the baby to get off your ribs and to simultaneously take the pressure off your bladder and cervix.

  9. Maybe your midwife will be able to give you some advice, why dont you mention it at your next check up. i know that it can be really uncomfy i used to get real pains under my ribs that it would make me cry out in pain! My neighbours did a self diagnosis and told me i probably had gall stones...i didnt. when i had my scan i asked the nurse to take a look and she said that the baby was probably lying on a drainage tube from my kidney and thats why it hurt so much. the pain did eventually subsided when the baby moved so maybe yours will too. just try moving about in different positions, i was often on my hands and knees crawling round the lounge. All i can say is just think about that wonderful lil bundle thats due, as soon as you see them all the pain suffered with just go away : ) my baby is 6 months old and im already thinking of trying again x x

    good luck x

  10. Girl...I had to have one of those over-sized body pillows propped in between my knees while laying on my sides at all times just to get comfy.  Try that.
