Everyone seems to assume we'll be there and from the Minor Premiership possie. So whoever comes fourth has a tough qualifier ... Given 2nd plays 3rd and then losers from those play the also rans ...

Who's the best chance of being the other team in the granny. I'm backing Saints to beat the Bulldogs in the "other prelim". (With Cats to do Hawks in the real prelim:-)))

  1. I think the important question is who will beat them?

  2. It will allmost certainly be Geelong

as too the other team, it will be either

    Dogs

    Hawks

    or Swans

    with Maggies an outside chance

Lions Saints and Kangas will go out in finals

My Tiges may finsh 8 but most likely 9

(will battle with crows and blues for 8th)

me, i reckon it just may be cats and the swans.

all tho my money would be on cats hawks

GOD HELP US IF THE MAGPIPES MAKE THE GF!!

best that could happen if they do is they lose by a point

  3. I think the top 4 wont change from how it is now.

Swans to loose to cats giving the swans a home final.

    Hawks to beat bulldogs.

Collingwood should win in there half of the 8.

If all games go to plan after that it should leave Geelong, Hawks, Swans, magpies or bulldogs.

The hawks are a young side, this is not there year. But i think they will win a GF in the next 3 years.

The bulldogs i believe are starting to show a few cracks and have not had much finals experience in the past few years.

The swans, it all depends on weather they make the top 4 and get home finals. They have a lot of finals experience and could cause some headaches.

The pies only seem to play well against the good sides. it would all depend on how they finish off the season. It hurts me to say but they may be a chance.

Brisbane, roos, saints or whoever else makes the 8 will only be making up the numbers.

My Selection Cats Vs Sydney or Collingwood.

  4. Western Bulldogs will play Geelong in the 2008 AFL Grand Final, they are to experienced and classy for Hawthorn.

  5. I wish it was the Pies, but that isn't going to happen =)

I think it will be the Dogs, but as much as I'd like them to win a flag this year, I think the Cats will make it back to back.

  6. You think the Saints will participate in the Grand Final this year? I hope it's the Doggies :)

  7. carlton? hahahha ummm they actually gotta get into the finals first mate...like thats gonna happen. i think they will play bulldogs

  8. bulldogs

  9. carlton

  10. ASSUME NOTHING!!! In any sport whether it be footy, soccer, cricket, American football, basketball, baseball, Gaelic football, lawn hockey, croquet, or bowling, assume NOTHING!!! Your side only arrives when they get there and they aren't premiers until the final siren in the 'Granny', should they get there at all. It is the very nature of sport to exclude such vanity and more MATURE barrackers do not engage in it.

  11. assume nothing if you do the ladder predictor for the rest of season and finals, the likly outcome is a bulldogs v Magpies g/f with the doggies to win by a pt got 33/1 on this quinella 7 rounds ago.

  12. **I think it might be the Western Bulldogs that plays Geelong in the Grand Final.**

  13. I think it will be

Cats vs Saints in first prelim

Bulldogs vs Swans in second prelim

Then cats to beat the dogs in the GF.

note: it was hard to go past hawks, but of recent time they havent been their best. They need all their players and buddy to fire to have any chance.

  14. im saying the Swannies.

hey, if im right, i'll look like a genius. i'll remember this answer

  15. you think JDJesus something of what ever is mad?, wow that calls for another heinekin .............LOL
