So even though I'm a little over 1/32 Irish and a little less than 1/32 Italian, I can say I'm part Irish and part Italian? And it would be correct to say?

  1. yes, i am part irish, italian, german, indian, and a whole bunch more, but only small parts of some, so yes that is correct to say

  2. It is correct that you have Irish and Italian heritage.  The best way to phrase it is that you are (for example) American with Irish and Italian heritage.  There is no reason to identify percentages or reveal how far back in your tree that Irish ancestor was.
