Cotto vs Margarito (Two great welterweights, it will be a WAR.  My prediction- Cotto wins, but I would NOT be surprised if Margarito pulls it off. 55%-45% Cotto.

Shane Mosley vs Zab Judah ( My prediction-Mosley will zip Zap)

De La Hoya vs Mayweather-( If Oscar Jabs, he increases his chances in winning)

Kelly Pavlik vs Gary Lockett (Good Fight) Pavlik wins

FIGHTS I'M HOPING TO SEE:

De La Hoya vs Trinidad- We all know who won last time, and De La Hoya needs to prove he is better than Trinidad AGAIN. If De La does not fight Trinidad, I'm interested in watching him fight Cotto. Even though Cotto is at his prime, I still think De La Hoya can give him a very hard time.

Juan Manuel Marquez vs Manny Pacquiao III- Personally, I saw Marquez winning both fights, and I'm not the only one who thinks this way. When Marquez and Pacquiao get together, the people WIN.

Miguel Cotto-Floyd Mayweather- I'm sure this fight will be happening in 2009. I'm not waiting for it, as many people are. I'm not as enthused as many of boxing fans are because I don't expect much from Floyd Mayweather. He is not Stupid, so he will not trade punches with the stronger Cotto. He is just going to move back and throw one punch at a time giving a boring performance(BIG SURPRISE haha). This fight won't be as entertaining as many people think it will be. My Prediction- Mayweather by  Decision. Big Disappointment just like Mayweather vs De La Hoya.

Without a doubt in July you will see absolute fireworks and I'm not talking 4th of July, with Cotto-Margarito. Margarito walks through people and Cotto wears people out. It's going to be a great fight. Like a 2008 remake of the welterweights back in the 80's. Although I don't think it's going to be as easy as some people make it out to be. Margarito has never faced the power of someone like Cotto and Cotto has never fought anyone with the chin and punishment Margarito can take, unless you count Mosley.

A great fight nonetheless.

Well If I understood the article correctly, Cotto is supposed to fight Margarito by the end of this summer. I think that will be a great fight. Cotto will not be able to walk down Margarito like he has everybody else. Now I'm not saying Cotto will lose, but this will for sure be his biggest challenge. Matgarito is a tough m**o.

He comes forward at all times too, and for the first time in his career, Cotto will be not be the bigger, stronger man when he steps in against Margarito. I am really looking forward to this fight. De La Hoya vs. Forbes is just a tune up for Oscar for his September fight with Mayweather..

Oscar vs Mayweather II  (I hate this one since it will push the Floyd vs Cotto fight back, not fair to Miguel)

Cotto vs Margarito is going to be very good, two hard hitters with a lot of heart

Mayweather vs De la hoya 2 is going to be good as well, I actually enjoyed the first fight and I think this is going to be tough, De La Hoya feels he can beat Floyd and is determined to do it, Mayweather feels he needs to defend his P4P ranking and he is going to have to bring his A game this time

these two fights are going to be interesting to watch as the stakes are high for all the fighters involved.
