So what did you think about McCains speech last night?

Well personally for me his speech wasnt inspiring.

He just kept rambling about his war stories like my grandpa. lol

And he didnt even state his plan CLEARLY to clean up this country.

He said exactly what Bush said in his acceptance speech.

BUSH: "The people have spoken. They said they want change. They said it's time to clean up Washington. They're tired of politics as usual. They're tired of the pursuit of self-interest that has gripped Washington. They want to see an end to partisan bickering and closed-door decision-making. If I'm elected, I'll make sure that the American people can once again place their trust in the White House."

I think that he did a good job going over his war stories but everybody already knows that he is a POW. He should have told us what he plans to do with this country if elected. Instead we heard the same old speech about his POW days and very little if anything on his plans for this country. He mentioned some of his ideas such as tax cuts and drilling but nothing much else. He didn't talk about foreign policy, the housing crisis, the credit crunch, the way we are viewed worldwide, or really any economic issues. Very short on substance, but not as short on substance as Palin's speech.

I must say that I agree with you.

I really wasn't expecting much (considering the source), but with the stakes so high, I thought he would deliver a better speech.
