the congestion zone is already in london, it dosnt make the rush hour any easier here, its just another way of getting your hard earned cash out of you, us brits just seem to moan between ourselfs and roll over and accept these things, its the people who live in the areas that will be more effected, they have to pay the charge even if they dont even use there cars because they are parked within the zones

Mancunians...i had 2 look it up, lol. i don't know how much it'll cost to set up but it sounds like the government will get lots of money soon. maybe you could ride bikes or walk? or carpool? actually, it will be better for the environment--less carbon emissions. btw, i thought English people said 'twits'? isn't there a kid's book by Roald Dahl called the twits? they put birds in pies and worms in each others spaghetti? sorry I'm not from Manchester, but i bet most of them will be mad

I think it's ridiculous. I live within the second circle, and so if I happen to want to leave the city during the day time, I'll be charged.

They admitted themselves that they're only doing it because they ran out of money for the new metro lines, so had to raise funds somehow.

Also, did you get that leaflet about it through your door? The one with four 'Mancunians' and how their lives will be affected? Turns out they're all American models, and the entire thing was fabricated.
