So what do people in the UK think of the NFL?

i'm from San Diego. as you might know, the Chargers and Saints will be playing in London in October. my question is, what do people in the UK think of American Football? a lot of people have bought tickets to the game, but do they actually find it interesting/exciting?

  2. I'm a Brit and I love the game. I think it's the best combination of skill and athleticism of any sport, but I'm very much in a minority if my friends are anything to go by. Their most common line is, with all the padding, 'It's rugby for pansies'. I then ask them if they have ever watched the game and they say no, so it's simply down to ignorance. I tell  them that gridiron athletes are in a different league to rugby players, and that American Football is a MUCH more violent and dangerous sport, but they can't even be bothered to check it for themselves.

    The only thing I don't like are all the commercial breaks, but that's nothing to do with the game itself.

  4. People in the UK are retards all they care about is soccer. They have probably never heard of the NFL. They would probably think that soccer is more manly than the nfl
