So what do you think about the Cardinals trade?

Question

They got Luis Perdomo and cash and lost Anthony Reyes.

Do you think they got the cash because they are planning to make a move on a different closer? Do you think Luis Perdomo will get brought up to the majors sometime this year?

The Cardinals are now 29 for 54 in save opprotunities so I am willing for them to try anything to strengthen the bullpen.

i would say that they need to make a good deal before the trade deadline because is not looking that good for them. most likely they wont make the playoffs. i would trade for jason bay from the pirates a good bat and a good outfielder.

Finally! Reyes is gone! Apparently Perdomo is a good relief guy and should be good in the future. Hopefully the Cards trade for something for NOW in addition to LATER. We're 4 back of the Cubs and 3 back of the Brew Crew for the Wild Card. We're still in contention, and can be if Mozeliak trades for relief pitchers. Trade some young guys (an outfielder, like Duncan or Barton) for a lefty. They can't be done now...
