A former POW Dr Phillip Butler who spent 8 years at the same POW camp as McCain does not support McCain for President. AS Dr Butler said -he is not comfortable knowing that McCain has  volatile temper  which would put him with in ready access to the red nuke button.

Ouch! I feel I have to respect people who have served in the military, even though I may not agree with the war(s).  I am in no way a McCain supporter for several reasons, and I am sure that being a POW is where some,  if not most of his anger issues come from, but still ...ouch!

FYI, he was offered to be let out once, but declined and stayed with his fellow captured troops. You really have the wrong attitude buddy, no matter what your political views are. You and I and the whole country don't owe our votes to him, but we do owe our respect. And it does take bravery to live though being tortured, so i would really just shut the h**l up.

He was no braver than the other men who served with him and weren't captured. My ex husband was at Hamburger Hill and I know I wouldn't elect him or any of his friends to Presidential office.

Your question is a smear tactic, Have some respect. McCain asks for nothing in return for his life service to his country.  At the very least, we OWE McCain RESPECT!  That is all anyone asks and he above all people in this election deserves it.
