you see, theres this big, one eyed, purple monster.

he kills all the townspeople by stabbing them with his horn.

then he eats them.

then he flies away.

I am old enough to remember the arrival of the purple people eater.  He was a great party animal and played fab rock & roll through the horn on his head.  

It was about the same time the itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini got popular.

Nothing has one eye, it would keep flying into things.

Wouldn't make a very good people eater, more of a people stabber lol
