So what is wrong with socialism for the USA?

not communism and is the Standard Oil anti trust laws just a form of socialism?

Well look at Detroit.  A ton of their jobs have been shipped overseas because labor unions kept demanding more and more money.  There comes a threshold where companies aren't going to pay that much for labor when they can get it cheaper elsewhere.  Labor unions carry a socialistic ideology.  (Of course, not all labor unions are bad, but in general they case more trouble than they're worth.)

The same thing that was wrong with socialism for the USSR.  It didn't work, and it collapsed before it was 100 years old.  Why in the h**l would we implement something here that failed so miserably there?

I think we can have both socialism and capitalism.  Why can't we have a health care system for all but let people make a living anyway they choose.  I don't get it.

Not a goddamn thing is wrong with socialism.  It's what kept the capitalist pigs from hitting us with another of their Great Depression scams before (_*_) Reagan came along.  What makes people who are incapable of rational thought "think" there is something wrong with socialism is that they've been brainwashed, which is easy to do to people who lack intelligence.

Well, if you like to be told what to do all the time by your government,then there is nothing "wrong" with it.If thats the case then just move to Russia,they still have some laws from back in the Soviet Union days.
