So what makes McCain/Palin better than Obama/Biden?

In my opinon this is another tactic being used to get more votes. So McCain wants a gun toting female VP? 1st he picks a woman for sympathy and more back pats, then he gets a gun toting one at that. I mean come on. I am not at all impressed by his desperation. He has def lost my vote. I dont care how "popular" this woman is. Looks to me like McCain is more concerned with trophies on his arm.

Any opinions?

palin has executive experience shes a nobody. shes a govenor of an ice box and i doubt she has even been to washington. Joe Liberman was a way better choice.yet ignorant poepl condem McCain. i dnt understanf. i think McCain has this toxin that he injects in to people tio no matter how ridiculs his campaign gets and how much more logically it seem to vote for OBAMA they stay loyal to him. i dnt get it.the only qaulity he shows is the quality to fire a rifle and start war. his econmic plan sucks which is all i care about how am i going to pay next months rent when i'm paying $150 for gas per vehicle per week. it seems foreign policy is more impornat than living on the street lets kill more iraqis to put money in more companies revenue. VOTE OBAMA is you have sense!

Maybe, McCain is better than Obama. Biden is MUCH better than Palin. I am very disappointed he chose Palin. I was going to vote for McCain but now I am undecided. The point is the VP for McCain should be more prepared than ever before because he is old. Obama's choice isn't that crucial and Biden is a better VP than Palin. This upsets me, McCain is trying to court women voters by putting Palin in the ticket. His motto is "Country First" (even though he is a great American hero) this shows that he is picking Palin for his own good not for the country's. If McCain is elected, I hope that nothing happen to him because Palin becoming president would be a diaster.

Palin has executive experience...and leads the Alaska National Guard.

McCain is a patriot...and knows foreign policy.

Obama is a green radical, Biden a ole Washington insider stealing our taxes away and puting special interest groups first.

McCain brought a fresh inexperience VP and give women a voice.

And Biden was picked so Obama could have a response whenever anybody pointed out how inexperienced he was.  So it looks to me like Obama was just trying to mask how unqualified he is for the position.

and she's an Alaskan, she has far more right to decide what happens in Alaska than you do.

The idea of an election is to get more votes. Obama has no experience and is dangerous for America...Biden is a crook in a suit. McCain actually cares about America and Palin is a great choice for his VP because she accentuates his positives and negates his negatives. This is the idea that is supposed to be behind choosing a VP. Obama picked a crook in a suit and McCain picked a very capable candidate.

P.S. McCain never had your vote (everyone knows that from your comments) and I didn't see her "toting" a gun at her acceptance speech. Besides, we do have a little thing called the 2nd. Amendment.

You call it a tactic as if that's surprising... Every Presidential candidate in history has named their VP with tactics in mind.  You think Obama liked picking Joe Biden who said he was "grossly unqualified to be President"?  He picked him because he believes it will bring Pennsylvania over to him and for no other reason.  Biden has no other redeeming quality for the Messiah.
