So whats the answer?

I posted a question the other day regarding my potty trained daughter and my frustration with my husband not feeling comfortable taking her to the toilet when out. (At home she goes herself without asking/needing help)

Well, someone pointed out that for a man it is extremely difficult what with our society of paediphiles to be seen taking a young toddler into the toilets! And of course he would have to go into the mens and unfortunetly our society, although it spouts equalism, is geared up for the mother-child rather than father-child.

But I don't want her to go 'backwards' and be in a nappy when with him (she already got a little confused the day after he took her out with a nappy on and wee'd herself a tiny bit before asking when before that she hasn' t had a single accident).

And even if the answer was to allow him to use nappies when with her thats not going to be right when she is 4, 5, or 6 and needs taking to the toilet when I'm at work and he is with her!

  1. In absence of a family restroom which still aren't all prevalent, a father can take a little girl to the men's restroom just as a mom can a little boy to hers, Why should there be a difference? Small children are out in public and it can't always be with the same gendered parent.

I think adults in the restroom would be discreet and understand.
