So if i buy a car that emits less than 99g/Km CO2 I have to pay no road tax?

Also is that for good? will this car produce more than that over time and will i then start having to pay road tax?

Just wondering if it is a good idea with all these charges about.

Thanks

  1. Its all b0llocks mate, the planet has had it, I wouldn't worry.

  2. Basically yes. Until they change the rules again! Personally I wouldn't buy such an underpowered car just to save £100-odd a year, but that's just me.

PS, I don't pay any tax on my 2.0 litre car either, as it's pre 1973!

  3. You have to plug it in to charge up..

    after 40 miles

    it was on GMTV

    lol

i dont think it will stick,, cos if your driving a long way on a street you have to find a plug socket!!
