On the 3rd Wednesday of the month, my company has an event called the "Mid-Month Disposal".  We call it "MIMO'd" like, "We just MIMO'D Silver Lake."

We gather all the 55 gallon drums we've gathered over the past month and we'll drive them out to a spring fed lake and dump them over the side of my boss's pontoon boat.

It is funny to see some of the colors from last months barrels coming to the surface.  

The company I work for is obviously PAINT.  We dispose of mainly water-based paint and some other cleaning materials.  We still do it at night because some of the locals don't like finding 55 gallon drums washed up in  their yard for some reason and they'll be looking for us. Hahah!  Who'd have thought that.

Anyway, these industrial chemicals and stuff really don't do much and the lake is only used from May-September by children and we do our dumping September through April.  

Needless to say, tonights going to be a long one.

Am skint, got no fuel in my car and my oven has broken, so will be staying in (again), trying to concoct some microwave food for the kids and flicking though 100's of boring TV channels, then eventually my hubby will be home from his business trip.

i am going to put my son to bed, watch tomorrows hollyoaks on E4, go to the gym for an hour, come home, have a shower, cook dinner and watch The Restaurant on demand (as i'll miss it whilst at gym!) and the probably by then it will be about 10 o'clock so time for bed!! :)

I'm going to a city park to help feed about 200 homeless people.  Makes most everyones plans above seem silly and selfish.

I'd even say many of you support the Leftist Labour Party, cry about the poor and downtrodden and look down on Christians and church. As a compassionate conservative and a Christian I am out there actually doing something that helps.  Why aren't you?
