So when should i get an electric guitar?

i was reading previous question about whether acoustics or electric is better to start with.ive already started on a acoustic. im a beginer but when have i reached a good point to get an electric?most tab stuff ive found that i like would usually be played on electric.so what can i play?

im doing some lessons later.i can only do few chords and if i try hard enough i can work out songs in tab.mmmm im dont think im doing a great job asking my question

by one for your birthday so your parents can buy it trust me u will get over guitar

get your electric guitar when it is on the school holidays!that way you can play the electric guiter alot!!!

If there's one thing that always sounds awesome on both acoustic and electric, it's barred chords. Learn those immediately on your acoustic, and they won't seem hard at all on your electric.

Also, those tabs that are meant for electric aren't always for electric. Some songs sound absolutely breathtaking on acoustic. If you end up trying some strange ones, you'll be surprised.
