So when & where did Paul Casey develop an American accent?

You noticed that too. He did play college golf at Arizona State but I would guess that the statement he made a couple years ago about not liking Americans made him adopt his American accent so we wouldn't remember he who is.

Well, he did go to college in the USA.

But I haven't heard an "American accent" coming from Paul.  He sounds perfectly English to me.

he has lived in USA since he was at college and has an american girlfriend so it is not totally out of order that he has picked up an accent

I lived in canada for three years and fought against picking up the accent but eventually succumbed - i did not lose it until i have been back in uk for a few months.

My hubby is irish and lives in Uk and it was only when we watched our wedding video recently that we realised how much of his accent he has lost - he came over here to live with me 7 years ago and is sounding very yorkshire now

I noticed that too... He's spent alot of time in the USA though and also I tihnk his girlfriend is American.

He's a nice guy though, felt sorry for him after he was leading for a while, x.
