So where do i find.?

I need to transfer video from my miniDV camcorder to my computer but my computer doesn't have a firewire port and my camera doesn't have a usb port....so

where can i find an adapter or something to connect the camera to the computer. Its a Dell Dimension C521

Docwisdom67 is right - install a firewire card.  You'll find firewire to USB adapters advertised on eBay, but don't buy one - they don't work!  Some MiniDV camcorders have a USB port, but that's for transferring stills, not video.

You will need to buy a firewire PCI card for your computer.

dont worry, they are not expensive, about $15-30

once you get it, you will need to turn the computer off, unplug it, open the side of the case and remove one of the blank plates in the back, push in the card and secure it with a s***w. install the drivers and your ready to go!
