Was it Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 or UFC Undisputed 3? We take a look at the United Kingdom’s weekly software sales charts to find out.
Another seven days have flown by and that means that it’s time we look at the weekly software sales charts.
FIFA 12 was the undisputed champion in the previous week and many, many of the weeks prior to that as well, yet it seems the best football simulation game in history has finally met its match, but which game top the number one spot off it?
Starting things off with Just Dance 3 that has slipped down a few places to number 10 in the charts with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim also continuing its steady decline down the charts as well as it finished ninth.
The Darkness 2 continues to sell in relatively decent numbers but still finds itself in eight place while Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure finishes in seventh.
The latest instalment in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy XIII-2 rounds up the bottom half of the top ten as Battlefield 3 kicks off the top ten with its brilliant multiplayer action that is still attracting sales.
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games may be one of the longer video game title names to have come out and its sales figures seem to indicate that that may not be a bad thing.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the best selling game in the history of mankind continues to do the business at the charts as it climbs up a few places to finish third.
So with Modern Warfare 3 finishing in third place and FIFA 12 finishing in second, it can only mean one thing and that one thing is the fact that UFC Undisputed 3 is the best selling game of the previous week.
The game has received generally positive reviews since its release and it seems that its launch week sales figures seem to be justifying that notion.
The question now remains as to whether or not UFC can maintain its position or if FIFA 12 can mount a comeback.
