So who has fundraising ideas?

Im going to brazil, the amazon rainforest to help kids. Im building a school for them and teaching them english. Im going on July 5th 2010.2 years today.

Now, I've done my calculations and the trip will cost me £4000, and I have 98weeks(because I have to have paid in full before 60days to departure) to raise the money.

That means I need to earn atleast £40 a week, I've already got a job so I can't get another one, but I need another income, regular. So Im thinking of opening a website selling stuff, online business, but WHAT? can someone help me with fundraising ideas and do you think people would be happy to donate?

Great, I too am a missionary working in Brazil.  I have worked in the Amazon quite a bit.  I work in Rio at the moment.  One Idea would be to sell items that refer to Brazil on a web site.   Items like Brazilian Flip flops.  

By the way are you working with John Pac of Thankyou Muisic.  He is British and has a school in the Amazon.

why cant you get another job. lots of people have 2 jobs all the time as some jobs are so poorly paid.

so why cant you help the kids where you come from im into help kids in your own country first may sound negative but only things like this raise awareness, i bet their are kids nearer to your home that could do with some help.

you could always sell your home or car?
