So who is going to win Cintron-Margarito II?

I think Cintron with Steward has improved a lot and can win this fight. What do you guys think?

I'm picking Cintron.  I think he has improved while Margarito has not really progressed.  Cintron has to be more focused as he is attempting to avenge a loss.  

I don't know, I just have a feeling Cintron is going to do to Margarito this time, what a lot of people were picking him to do the first time.  If we see that Margarito doesn't have a big psycological edge early, he may be in for some real punishment - he was very available to be hit against Williams, and Cintron hits a lot harder than that.

Emmanuel Steward has improved Kermit Cintron a lot since his first fight with Antonio Margarito, and I think that he will do better in the rematch, BUT I still don't think that he can beat Margarito.  Cintron looked great when he knocked out Walter Matthysse, but then he got rocked on more than a few occasions by a tough-as-nails Jesse Feliciano.  That fight put Cintron back into perspective for me and it made me think if a guy like Feliciano is rocking him, what would Margarito or Cotto do?  Was it his hand that caused him to have such a lackluster performance?  Possibly, but I remember looking at him between rounds in that fight, and he looked discouraged; what I'm saying is that he still has more mental flaws than physical flaws, and someone like Margarito will capitalize on that (just like he already did in their first fight).  Physically, he is a unique specimen who is strong as a bull and can fight very well, but mentally, when things are not going his way he starts to fold and get intimidated.  He will come into the fight prepared trying to avenge his only loss (even though he may still be intimidated) and will make it past the first few rounds and even past the middle rounds, but I'm thinking that somewhere around the 9th or 10th he will fall again.

I think Steward's training will allow Cintron to stay afloat during the early rounds; I see him landing some shots but not seriously hurting Margarito.   On the other hand, Antonio's steady pressure and power punching will eventually wear on Kermit going into the middle rounds.  I don't think Cintron has the mental stamina to overcome this, and I see a TKO for Margarito in the later rounds.  When I think of Cintron, I am mostly concerned for his state of mind as opposed to his physical skill.

I'd really like to say that Cintron will win.  Really, I do.  But Margarito didn't just beat Cintron their first time out.  He made him look like an amateur.  And Margarito is not a great fighter, although, at one time, I admit that I thought he might be.  

Cintron might have some new tricks. . . .but Manny Steward isn't getting the gloves taped on. . .Kermit is!!!

Also, Cintron's hand is still injured.  It would need a year to be back to 100%.

John H pretty much beat me to this one, I agree, thumbs up, great answer.  Cintron has improved, but not enough to beat Margarito.  Cintron needs a KO to win, I got Margarito winning a decision in this one.

i think cintron will stun margarito maybe a  couple of times but thats it . i think margo will take over the later rounds and win by TKO. cintron cant really handle the pressure margarito is about to give him as you saw how cintron was struggling in his last fight.

Im going for Cintron.

Margarito likes to come on in late rounds. Cintron has to box him and move. Rack up points and try to be him on rounds. Cintron needs Stamina and mental game. Steward is a trainer who likes the jab. He can keep the jab in margarito face all day long. Margarito is a brawler with no defense. This fight is critical for both guy's. This prove's if they are a joke are a real force. I think Margarito is going to win. He's out to prove something. Cintron better come with it. Steward is a good trainer. If Cintron can move and box, he has a good chance.

I think Cintron will fair better than he did the first fight, but still lose and most likely by KO.  Cintron may be more prepaired this time around, but even though he has great power Margarito has a great chin.  Cintron doesnt have the handspeed, movement, or workrate to beat Margarito.  Eventually either Margarito will overwhelm him and Cintron will crack mentally, or Margarito will take an easy decision just off of activity.
