  1. sheets started in the allstar game, giving up no runs of course.  And sabathia has gone 3 strait complete games, giving up only 3 runs combined.  The first game will go to the brewers, unless the brewers cant score a run.  The others will probably be high scoring games.  I say a split, or brewers take 3.  Any other part of the season, the cubs would probably win the series, but right now the brewers are too hot, and the cubs are slumping.

And i swear you have to be stupid to think zambrano is better than sheets, and fukudome is better than any multicellular organism capable of holding up a bat.

  2. Brewers sweep this series ! Brewers are better top to bottom . Go brew crew .

  3. I see opinions are rewarded thumbs down, but I'll state mine anyway.

C- Soto/Kendall- split... hear me out on this. Soto's bat definitely gives him an edge, but the reason it's a split is beyond the box score. Kendall is one of the best in the league with playcalling. If we still had Estrada, we'd be in fourth.

1B- Lee/Fielder- I'll give this one to Lee

    2B- DeRosa/Weeks- DeRosa. Anyone's better than Weeks

3B- Ramirez/BranHall- Ramirez. The platoon supplied 25 HRs, but Ramirez is better with everything else.

SS- Theriot/Hardy- Hardy. Check the numbers.

    LF- Soriano/Braun- Braun.

CF- Edmonds/Cameron- Cameron. His numbers are better, his defense is better, his baserunning is better.

RF- Fukudome/Hart- Hart. You guys grossly overrate Fukudome

Ace- Zambrano/Sheets- Sheets edges him here

    #2- Harden/ Sabathia- Sabathia.

#3- Dempster/Parra- Dempster. Parra is good, but Dempster is having a Career year.

#4 Lilly/ McBush- McBush Platoon, but who cares about #4?

#5 Marquis/Suppan- Marquis, again who cares about #5?

Relievers, save Closer- Cubs. No question here.

    Closer- Wood/Torres- Torres. Check Numbers.

Cubs 6, Brewers 8, Tie 1. Actually Compare the players instead of giving it the the bigger name.

I say the Brewers take 3 at home.

Here comes thumbs down from Cubs fans who can't take criticism.

  4. its either Cubbies 3-1  or a split

Personally i hope the cubs sweep but i doubt that

  5. If the Cubs somehow steal game 1 vs. C.C., I'd say they win 3-1.  If not, they will split 2-2.

If you compare stats, Zambrano is better than Sheets.  Both are in their 8 season.  Sheets is 83-77 with an era of 3.73

Zambrano is 93-59 with an era of 3.36

I would choose Zambrano  because of all the arm problems Sheets has had.  Wouldn't surprise me if he goes down again this year.  He's the Brewers version of Kerry Wood.

  6. The Cubs will split at a minimum because the Florida win today really gives them a confidence boost and Soriano is starting to heat up. They struggled without him in the lineup and now he's back. He's not being paid $136 million for nothing.

  7. I say Cubs 3 and 1.

If they can get past CC

  8. Micahel you're smoking crack if you think the Brewers are better top to bottom.

    C - Soto over Kendall

    1B - DLee over Fielder

2B - DeRosa over Weeks or Durham

SS - Draw between Hardy and Theriot

3B - Ramirez over Hall or Branyan

    LF - Braun over Soriano

    CF - Edmonds over Cameron

    RF - Fukudome over Hart

    Zambrano over Sheets

Sabathia over Harden (even though I'd take Harden)

    Dempster over Parra

    Lilly over Suppan

    Bush over Marquis

That's 9-3-1, Cubs.  If you think any Brewers belong ahead of those Cubs players, you're out of your mind.

I say Cubs win this series 3-1, the only loss coming against Sabathia in game 1.

  9. well anything can happen. I bet ya NOBODY expected the brewers to sweep the cardinals at busch stadium. but i expect a split, these 2 teams are pretty much evenly matched.

  10. The Brewers are gonna win 3 games to 1

  11. Game 1: Brewers win 6-1

    Game 2: Brewers win 4-3 in 12

    Game 3: Brewers win 9-8

    Game 4: Cubs win 6-2

Go ahead Cubbies fans, give me a thumbs down.  You know the Brewers are better.
