With only 5 days to go it's still looking very open.

Must admit New Approach sounds very interesting. But I have just noticed that the recent Kempton winner IL Warrd trained by Marcus Tregonning has just been snapped up by Godolphin. I'm off to have a bit each way on this one before the race. Godolphin are desperate to win the Guineas and the Derby and this one is by top sire at the moment Pivotal. Your thoughts please.......

  1. New Approach will win the 2,000 guineas by at least 5 lengths

  2. Ravens Pass will do very well in the 2,000 guiness.

  3. Ibn Khaldun

  4. well i got  to say that iam also a Natagora fan !! and the longer i leave it too say this looks as though im jumping on the band wagon but i more or less made my mind up 2 weeks ago i really do think the vibes are hitting the right spot for this one. iam not a big fan of lbn khaldun nor will i back anything anti post i prefer to take a lesser price but atleast be  safe my bet wont be wasted.

one thing is for sure we have great racing ahead so eyes down and dont be scared to publish your views everyone !!

  5. jupiter pluvius and natagora

  6. If only we knew!

Twice Over won well last week but looks likely to head to the Dante and possibly the Derby.

The Newmarket rumour mill has been all about CONFRONT over the winter, but he ran appallingly on Saturday.  Perhaps he will come on for the run - my ante-post bet certainly hopes so!

Ibn Khaldoun is interesting, but the Godolphin horses only arrive a week or so before the race and seem to take a while to settle in.

I like Natagora a lot, but the John Dunlop filly that won at Newbury on Satuday looks to be a good one, as does Infallible!

It's all very open at the moment and I'd hate to nail my colours to just one mast.  I will be savouring the prospect of a fab weekends racing and looking forward to my picnic in the car park!
