In the Saint Louis Missouri and in the Western Illinois area across the Mississippi they are building Targets and major chains stores and restaurants and lots of homes.

I don't undrstand.

It is hard to find a decent paying job though, unless you have a degree or certification.

I lost my job with Value City Furniture because of business going down and after 9 years I am back to what I started out at as now the minimum wage!

  1. the entire country is getting into a recession but some parts have been in a recession for years, and some are still not experiencing any problems Like if you think about how in louisiana and mississippi with the hurricanes in 2005, lots of people lost jobs and homes and those people are still struggling...but meanwhile some areas are still ok.

  2. We are not going into a recession everywhere in the country. Some people just say we are or going into a recession very soon because our economy is much less strong when you compared to other countries such as India, China, Australia, Europe, etc. If you're city has room to grow it will because the populatioin is increasing (people still have to live). Personally, I live in Virginia Beach, VA and see no signs of recession here either, I just hear a lot in the media.
