I mean d**n, I arrived to work, feeling good and nothing to worry about. I come to the tv in the lobby to see russia and some small country I never heard of in a conflict. I'm thinking "oh c**p, russia".

And then I hear about bush warning russia to stop. And so there, now we got on russia. A country with nukes up the ****. I hear later that russia is withdrawing but I also hear the withdraw is collapsing or something.

And so now we are once again thrown into thin ice with our leaders dacing around with our lives in their hands.

If this leads to WW3, I hope I dont live to see it. If it does happen, and if nukes do go off. The lucky ones already died.

Cant shake the feeling that ****'s about to hit the fan..

  1. This invasion from Russia is in response to Georgia and Ukraine trying to join NATO and about the U.S. giving training, military supplies, etc... to the Georgians. They provoked the Georgians into responding to the breakaway provinces that want to go back to Russian control. The Russians are trying to send a message that the U.S. cannot protect them. However, this is a perfect reason that they should join the NATO because Russia will not want to invade for fear of WW3.

  2. We just need to trust in the intelligence of our leaders...

    ...the US is screwed.

Seriously, though, Putin doesn't want World War III, and I highly doubt Bush does either. They don't like each other very much anymore, but neither is willing to die to get rid of the other one.

  3. I'm no expert, but I don't think we are going to go to war with Russia.  They are withdrawing which is good.  One of the main reasons we got involved is because of a huge oil pipeline that is over there.  The conflict between Georgia and Russia has been going on for years, and it's not going to stop anytime soon.  Georgia is trying to adopt the Western philosophy and Russia doesn't like that.  Russia knows what is best for them, and that's to calm the h**l down and back off.  I don't know where you live, but if it's in the US, don't worry.  We will continue to be the #1 world power and have a great defense system, post 9/11 of course.

  4. I don't think a new world war will start by this conflict.
