  1. Honey the only way to keep it is to give it back, that goes for recovery from any type of addiction. How about contacting an eating disorder clinic in your area and seeing if they have any type of a self-help group that you can get involved in. A type of group where you could share your experiences with other young ladies and how you overcame your own eating disorder. Another thing you could do is to start a group at your own school for your peers that may have eating disorders.

But, the most important thing you have to realize is you can't SAVE anyone but yourself. You can share what you have learned, but you can't take on other peoples problems as your own. That's not healthy behavior.

About all that worrying, is it doing any good? Does it help you? Is it productive? I think the answer would be no to all 3 questions. It takes work to not worry, but when you find yourself overcome with thoughts of other peoples troubles you have to consciously change your thought patterns. Force yourself to think about something else, something fun and happy.

You don't say how old you are, but by your writing you're probably in your teens. Don't try to take on the world's troubles, just keep your own front porch clean.

    Best wishes to you.
