So would Stricker's success be good for golf?

Assuming he could take the No. 1 spot from Woods, would it be good for the sport to have Stricker as the sport's public face?

    It would have good and bad sides to it. I guess Stricker doesn't have quite such a dynamic image, but when you get right down to it, when was Tiger Woods ever that dynamic anyway? He might have remorselessly ground out results, but he scarcely dazzled you with his devil-may-care shots - or his devil-may-care personality, come to that. Stricker isn't an opinionated or loud guy, but maybe his easygoing persona could actually be a fillip for the PGA tour.
