Unfortunately I have no ideas for school lunches]: Tenth grade peoples. So that's where yall come in [: I can't have anything that requires heating up... or being REALLY cold [: Preferably not even cold at all.. but I can manage [: So yeah... are you willing to help me please? I'm kind of begging you here.... Like things such as carrots and ranch dip (powdered) with low fat sour creme maybe? What else is there?

  1. Whole wheat crackers and low fat cheese, celery sticks and peanut butter, fruit or jello cups, hard boiled eggs, carrot sticks and low fat dip, apple and peanut butter, any fresh fruits, veggie salads, you can buy ranch dressing in both packets and cups that do notrequireerefrigerationn,

  2. Stick to natural whole foods.  Don't try all the low fat c**p.  Eat a sandwich with whole grain bread.  You like meat and cheese that's cool.  Just don't put mayo on it too.  Use another condiment to lube it up like mustard.  Fruit is the perfect addition to a sandwich.  You like to snack a little with chips?  Get some of those natural ones.  Like yam and ruttabegga (spelling).  Just watch that you don't consume more then 40 grams a fat a day and do consume at least 60 grams of protein.  Don't worry about the carbs jsut make sure they are from complex carbs like whole wheat or oatmeal.  Fruit sugar is good for you.  Stay away from soda and fruit juice from concentrate.  Typical luch should work just fine for you.

  3. Pita bread or wheat tortillas are good with hummus.  I like the roasted red pepper flavor with tortillas.  Eat it with a couple of slices of turkey and some low fat cheese and there you go!

You can also do tuna with the new olive oil mayo, fat free mayo, or just use mustard.  I like tuna with honey mustard.

Low fat PB and sugar free jelly eat with pretzels.

    Rice cakes with lowfat  PB.

(I like caramel flavored rice cakes)

apples with low fat PB or fat free cream cheese

Vegetable chips (found them in the chip aisle at Wal-mart or Target)

Don't drink sodas only water and a glass of 1% milk each day

BTW congrats on wanting to live a healthier lifestyle.  It is very tough at your age to stick to eating healthy and making good choices.  I hope things work out for you!

  4. Yeah, that's hard.  Here are some ideas that don't HAVE to be heated, or kept cold:

    lunchmeat

    chicken salad

    tuna salad

    chicken breast

    hamburger patty

    hard boiled eggs

    egg salad

cubed cheese (cheese is fine - good for you!)

    jello

    All fruits, including apple sauce

    All vegetables

Stay away from breads - they'll make you fat fast!

Drink water, milk, juice.  No sodas.

And I find it easier to stay away from certain foods completely rather than eating the alternative "low fat" option.  Like those low fat chips?  Ugh.  Disgusting and they make me want the real thing.  Just don't eat chips.  And peanut butter is VERY high in calories and fat.  Stay away.

Mayo is fine.  It's the bread that will keep  you bloated.  Trust me.
