  4. 1) Do you think you're really talented?

By no means am I the best, and I still have a lot to learn, but considering where I am right now I think I'm doing pretty well.

2)What are your strong points as an actor?

Understanding the character, developing the character. And I seem to be particularly good at Shakespeare.

    3)And your weak points?

My auditions aren't very good representations of what I can do on stage. It's deffinitely something to improve on.

4)How do you 'practice' your art and what sort of things do you do to evolve your talent?

Live it. I watch movies, plays, musicals, and seeing more helps you understand what you're doing. And most importantly, I learn from those around me. Just go people watching at the mall, and look at people. Without hearing what they say, you can see thier movements and expressions and you know exactly what they're thinking. The lines can't say nearly as much as the delivery, and people watching is good practice in understanding it. And of course, I owe a lot to the more experienced actors in my company who have taken me under their wing. As an unexperienced actress, their help has been enormous. Wow, I'm talking a lot.

5)How do you prepare for your role?

Read through the entire play. Then memorize my lines, then read through the play two more times. It gives you a better sense of where the character fits in. Watch movie adaptions, then read the play again. Understanding the big picture is the first step to understanding the small one that I represent. Understand what the character is saying, why they're saying it, how they want others to respond to them, and how they respond to others. It's essentially just applied psychology. You need to put yourself in the brain of who you're trying to be.

    6) The best acting advice you have is.........

As noted before, it's psychology. Understand who this person is, understand that it is NOT you, and understand why they're saying what they're saying. It's not just saying lines, it's expressing the thoughts and attitudes of the character.

  5. No i did not think. I don't have proudness.
