So your jesus died for your sins therefore if someone turns to Christianity theyre going to heaven right? Cuz they've been "saved" from eternal torment in h**l? But then if someone turns to Christianity and keeps sinning they'd still go to h**l right? I mean you could be a christian and keep killing people and burning people's houses you would have to pay for these sins with some time spent in h**l. Then what gives you Christians the right to say you are "saved" only God can say this cuz He knows all that people think and do in private. And if your Jesus died for your sins how come when you sin you can still land in h**l? What did your Jesus die for?

  1. Ok, listen up when you truely become a christian your veiw and spirit changes, and you would no longer do the things you once did. Your wrong on many accounts. Being saved is only throught Jesus and once you are saved Jesus psirit lives in you and it changes who you are. The Bible which is Gods word tells you this and only those who think in the ways of the world think as you do. Try reading the Bible try understanding something before asking questions that expose the true ignorance of this worl.

  2. Please learn to type.  It would help your cause.

  3. You have just pointed out the greatest error in many of the so-called "Christian" religions. What is the point of Salvation if it has to be earned. The Bible says that it is when one believes the gospel that they are saved.

(Rom 1:16)  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

No one has ever deserved to go to Heaven. This is why everyone needs to be saved.

(Luk 5:31-32)  And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Salvation is not of works. I am not going to Heaven because of anything that I do. The best person in the world deserves to go to h**l according to the Bible. Salvation is obtained by grace through faith in Christ.

(Eph 2:8-9)  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Therefore, the Salvation of a true believer does not rest in anything that the person does, but only in the saving power of Jesus Christ.

  4. Everyone is with sin... When you accept Jesus as your lord then you are making a promise to be faithful to him and live without sin.. Though we still sin, we can come back to him and ask for his forgiveness with a promise to stop sinning... God forgives and loves us... He loves you too.

Also, you only sin and go to h**l if you know that what you are doing or what you did was a sin... Say someone slept with someone with out being married to them and never found out that that is a sin but had God in there heart, they would go to Heaven, but if they found out it is a sin and did not repent, they would go to h**l.

  5. In the garden of Eden when man sinned by eating the fruit his spirit died. Humans are born with a dead spirit. Being saved is not just believing that Jesus is the Son of God. Sorry but believing that dosent do it for you because even the devil believes that. Being saved is admitting you are a sinner and need a Savior, repenting of your sins (which means being truly sorry and turning around and going the other way) When a person does that their dead spirit comes alive. Which is refered to as being born again. Jesus explained this to Nicodemus. He said you must be born again. So when the dead spirit is ressurected and comes to life you become a new person, the bible says old things fall away behold all things become new. It says I will take away your stoney heart and give you a heart of flesh. Meaning that the hardened heart of a person becomes tender. It also says that He (God ) will write His commandments on your heart. Meaning that you will have a conscience. So what takes place in the persons life is a transformation. Bit by bit and little by little as that person fills their mind with the Word of God their thinking is renewed. They do not have a license to sin. But rather they do not get pleasure from sinning. They get pleasure from pleasing God. Mankind has an empty spot in his heart that he tries to fill with all sorts of things like alcohol, drugs, adultry, fornication, homosexuality. All those things are just attempts to feel good, accepted, loved. But when the Holy Spirit of God comes and lives inside you and you can feel His presence within you it satisfies those deep longings. All the other stuff is counterfeit. When you are in this state of being you still have a free will. You are still suseptible to being tempted by satan and his demons. In fact there is a whole spiritual war going on all around us in a different dimention. A battle for the souls of men. And if you fall into sin it does not mean that you will go to h**l. Because it also says that If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If a person finds that they want to wallow around in sin then they really need to check to make sure that their salvation experience was the real thing to begin with. We are still human. And from my own experiences I can tell you that when I was living in a sinful state, I felt miserable. But I would have still gone to heaven if I had died then because Ephesians 2:8-9 says For it is by grace (the unmerited gift of God) are you saved through faith, and that (faith) not of yourself, it is the gift of God not of works  lest any should boast. And it also says, Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His mercy He has saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.  I hope this clarifies this for you. 6. 1 there is no eternal burning this is not biblical the bible says cast into the lake of fire and consumed not continue burning for all eternity

2 i can say im saved because i accept the fact that i have sinned and done wrong iaccept the fact that Christ died and through His death He sits on the mercy seat and offers mercy to all whom truly believe

3 Christ died for a number of reasons salvation being only 1

a  sacrifices used to have to be made b4 Christ ie an ox a ram etc since Christ no more sacrifices He is the sacrifice for 1 and all time josea 6:6 i don't want your burnt offering I want your mercy you ;ove and faith in Me

b  He died to show us that death of the flesh means absolutely nothing this is evident when He rose from the dead and said oh death where is thy sting now

c  He died to run intercession for us  when i die God will know of all sins i did not repent of but Christ will be at God's right hand pleading mercy for me based on my righteous acts my good works He will intercede on my behalf think of Christ as your defense lawyer He will tell God I have been to earth and lived as they (humans) did I know of the difficulty in being flesh and how it is to have all those temptations from satan iI plead for this mans mercy because and will list your works and righteous acts then God and God alone will decide what happens next but it is Christs death here on earth that makes Him qualified to run intercession for me that is why He came here that is why He died such a horrible death to show us once and fro all that it can be done and we can live forever if we just try as hard as we can Christ will plead on our behalf but we must do all we (humanly) can to be righteous in God's eyes

  7. You make the rest of us seem ignorant.

In the Christians defense. You cannot be a Christian and kill people. Its against the Bible. God knows you heart. (BlAH)

The point is to repent and not do it anymore.

    COMMON SENSE> use it.USE IT

  8. What the h**l are you on about?? Im an atheist and i think you're really arrogant.. Leave people alone and stop bombarding us with stupid, meanlingless and pointless questions and respects people's beliefs..

  9. God is Love

  10. Hi, sadly with that kind of assault against Christianity, you won't get many respectful responses.

Anyway, to try and help, as a Christian (born again) means I repented got baptised in his name and received the HS in my life, best thing ever, IMO ok. It is very hypocritical to think one can get saved and keep on sinning, doesn't wash. I do have the right to say I am saved, why? because I did what Christ commanded, and no I am still a sinner, make u happy? everyone is and always will be, we all fall short of the glory of God, but praise him he gave us a chance, I took that offering, when I say I am a sinner, I would have to be perfect, never happen, sheesh I was pretty bad, at least I have hope now, something that you or anyone like you can take away, I will walk as best I can, not doing the bad and only doing the best I can in the name of Christ, hard to live up to being worthy of such a sacrifice, Sin is in mans nature, we have to be careful and thoughtful all the time, trying not to harm others, treat everyone fairly, leave Judgement to God, and all fingers crossed, when Christ returns, to be there as one of his flock. Try and not judge us so poorly, last one to say we are perfect, just trying to the right thing by God

  11. You don't become a Christian and keep on willfully sinning. No Christian keeps killing people and burning people houses. Where did you get that from?

Because of our sin nature, we are prone to sin. But growth in Christianity and faith and following Jesus cleanses us and frees us from the sins we are prone to commit.

Christians don't deliberately sin. They strive not to sin with the help of the Holy Spirit.

If a person is not striving against sinning, s/he is not a Christian in the first place.

If you are a Christian, you won't land in h**l just because you commit a sin. A Christian would repent (strive to turn from) that sin.

How did you come up with this nonsense?

Edit: When you become a Christian, you do not become sinless. BUT you are Forgiven and God "remembers our sins no more". As we strive against sin, and repent, God forgives. The unbeliever is not forgiven because s/he has not asked to be. That is the whole message of Christianity. We don't have to go to h**l for our sins. We can be forgiven if we ask and accept that forgiveness. Even tho we deserve h**l, we are forgiven when we repent and ask God to forgive us.
