There is a theory I read about regarding electric cars and the process to make it work in mass production. It seems like commons sense. Many think it will not take off because there is to much at steak for the rich and greedy companies to lose. That these companies will stop any progress of alt energy because of the race to see who can be the first $200 billionire.

We the regular working people are fighting each other, while they keep stacking their money. We are easily distracted and manipulated constantly looking for a quick fix. They bring up the price, we look for alternatives. Any hit of alternative progress, they lower the price. The problem is not demand, its strategy for wealth. There couldn't be a worse time for gas prices to be so high. We are now desperate to erode the environment for a quick fix. Who cares about the future generation, right? Melting ice caps, so what?

  1. I do not suppose the rich will *necessarily* stop all alt. energy work, but I think they want to get control of it, especially if it could "work".  This would mean that somebody who comes up with an idea like oil-from-algae might be able to start a company, then sell it out for big buck$, relatively easy.

Regular working people fighting is partly just odds.  If somebody goes out and beats somebody up (at random) it is likely to *not* be somebody rich.

  2. I hear you, i have just purchased a vehicle to convert to electric.

We have no idea how to wire the vehicle, but I am so p.ss'ed off at how we are being milked, i am willing to try.
